Five-year-old girl hits hole-in-oneGolf

A five-year-old girl is seeking entry into the Guinness Book of Records for a remarkable feat she pulled off during a golf tournament.A five-year-old girl standing 3'5" tall has sunk a hole-in-one during a juniors tournament in England last week.

Eleanor Gamble easily completed the 86-yard hole with a drive over a water hazard set among numerous bunkers.

The youngster - who was playing the tournament with her brother Jacob - needed only one bounce of the ball before it found it's target.

She told Eurosport her aim in golf was to be better than her brother.

The Gamble family has approached the Guinness Book of World Records and put forward Eleanor as possibly the youngest female to hit a hole-in-one - the current record is held by an eight-year-old American girl.

The owner of the nine-hole course in Cambridge, Bob Barnes, added: "We get plenty of hole-in-ones because all of our holes are a par-3.

"I've been at the club for 10 years and this is the first time anything like this has happened though. It is incredible."
