Night of the Lepus was a really bad horror movie about giant mutant rabbits. It included actor DeForest Kelley, aka "Bones" McCoy from the original Star Trek. Night of the Lepus is the title used to describe one of 15 images which are NOT photoshopped, although you might think they are... on cracked.com. Here is what cracked had to say about this massive rabbit.
We couldn't tell if this was the most horrifying or most adorable
thing we'd ever seen, until we learned the backstory. First terrifying
detail: it is real. There's even video. This species of giant gray bunnies are bred by a guy in Germany ... for food. Look people, we're going to say it extra slow this time, and we're going to link every word to evidence: Germany. Is. Freaking. Weird. If you choose to travel there, please don't return with photographs.
Karl Szmolinsky, who raises a breed of rabbits called giant grays,
shows Robert, an 8.5kg giant gray who is 74cm long and has ears 25.5cm
long, in the backyard of his house in Eberswalde, Germany in 2006.
Szmolinsky sold eight giant grays to a delegation from North Korea that
wanted to raise the breed as a source of meat for the North Korean
population. Szmolinsky said his rabbits reach a maximum weight of 10.5
kg (23.1lbs.). - ctrib

Once when I was little I had a dream that involved giant rabbits the size of lions.
These aren't quite that big, but that's still pretty neat.
Just today in class someone was talking about how you can't find rabbit meat in grocery stores anymore... Too bad. My mom says it's delicious-- but she prefers squirrel.
