Boiled bones show Aztecs butchered, ate invaders

Here's a disgusting story of human inhumanity. Only about 500 years ago, when the invading Spanish forces of 1520 were captured by aztecs.jpgAztecs, evidence shows that the Aztecs held a group of prisoners and ate them, a few per day, over the course of six months.
"On hearing of the massacre, Cortes renamed [Zultepec as] the town Tecuaque -- meaning "where people were eaten" in the indigenous Nahuatl language -- and sent an army to wipe out its people. " - yahoo

We are evolving. Sure, we still hold other humans prisoners today (over 2 million in the US alone), slavery is at an all time high world wide ( 17,500 men, women and children per year enter the US as slaves. Also see: EBay halts auction of Vietnamese girls ), and humans still torture and kill our own kind. But now, in these modern civilized times, we've pretty much dropped the large scale cannibalism! Hurray!

In another million years or so, we might be able to apply for the Galactic Federation. If you wonder why the Aliens haven't contacted us yet, just take a look around. As a species we are, as yet, unworthy. There is hope, of course. The great mass of people is evolving. I know this to be a fact because we will soon have really cool 3-D TV.
